Vitroflora welcomes Joost van Santen as Account Manager

Vitroflora announces that Joost van Santen will join the company as Account Manager as of August 1st. In his new role, Joost will focus on the visual market, primarily serving customers across the Netherlands and Belgium.

At 33 years old, Joost is married, father of two sons, and lives in De Lier, located in the heart of the Westland horticultural region. With strong roots in this important horticultural area, he brings valuable local market knowledge and a broad network that will support further growth opportunities for Vitroflora.

Joost will take over part of the sales activities from Robbin den Herder – Product Manager, allowing Robbin to dedicate more focus and time to Product Management responsibilities.

Joost brings extensive experience from various positions within the horticultural sector. He previously worked at Houweling Group as Account/Product Manager. Prior to this, he spent six years at Dümmen Orange as Account Manager for annuals, perennials, and pot plants, where he gained significant experience working with large retail customers.

He started his professional career at Plantosys as Account Manager and Advisor in biostimulants. Most recently, Joost worked as a trainee agricultural real estate agent at Van Santen & Gasille. During this period, he realized how much he missed being closely connected to growers, working with living products, creating commercial opportunities, and collaborating with colleagues and customers in a dynamic horticultural environment.

With Joost joining the organization, Vitroflora welcomes an open, enthusiastic, and energetic colleague who values quality, teamwork, and long-term customer relationships. Building strong partnerships and creating opportunities together are among his greatest strengths.
