Green Works to showcase new varieties at FlowerTrials 2026

CannaSun – A new F1 Series
Among the highlights of Green Works’ FlowerTrials presentation is the launch of CannaSun, a new F1 Canna series. Developed for maximum performance, CannaSun combines very high germination rates with strong uniformity and a naturally compact growth habit that requires no growth regulators. The series is characterised by fast shoot development, large and eye-catching flowers, and a wide range of flower and foliage colours. Flowers are self-cleaning, show no leaf edge burn, and bloom continuously throughout the summer, making CannaSun a versatile and low-maintenance option for growers and retailers alike.

Peonies – Specialist production
Green Works positions itself as a leading specialist in peonies, with all roots produced in-house at its own nursery. By refraining from flower harvesting, the company directs all plant energy into strong root development. Only two-year-old crops with young, vigorous roots are supplied. The assortment covers a broad range of categories, including cut flower peonies, potted peonies, dry sales, Itoh peonies, and tree peonies. During FlowerTrials, a large portion of this full assortment will be presented in full bloom.

Ranunculus Butterfly – Exclusive and long-flowering
Green Works will also showcase its exclusive Ranunculus Butterfly series. Regarded as one of the longest-flowering Ranunculus varieties on the market, each stem carries five to eight flowers, resulting in a full and rich appearance. The series offers a long vase life, making it well suited to retail and florist applications, and is available in unique colours with a refined flower shape that lends itself to bouquets and creative arrangements. Selected varieties have now also been developed for pot production, opening up additional opportunities in pot and retail concepts beyond the cut flower market.

Agapanthus Summer Love – Elegance for patio and garden
Rounding out the presentation is Agapanthus Summer Love, a series developed by Green Works as a strong and elegant pot plant for patio and garden use. The plants are noted for their fresh, long foliage and rich flowering, delivering a premium look throughout the season. Flowering continuously across the entire summer, Summer Love is described as ideal for patio and garden containers. The series is available in two varieties: Agapanthus Summer Love White and Agapanthus Summer Love Blue.
