Iberflora has launched the 1st Landscape Designer Awards. Organised by Feria Valencia, the initiative aims to become a national benchmark for the design of temporary landscape exhibition spaces.
The competition will select the best proposal for the design and landscaping of the North Forum, one of the venue’s most prominent areas during Iberflora. The initiative seeks to encourage creativity in temporary landscape design, promote sustainable solutions and showcase the use of plant species adapted to the Mediterranean climate.
The winning proposal will receive a €3,000 prize (excluding VAT), together with a trophy and an official certificate. In addition, the winner will be awarded the contract to deliver the project, with a maximum budget of €15,000 (excluding VAT), covering technical development, production, installation, maintenance throughout the exhibition and dismantling afterwards. Overall, the competition represents a professional opportunity worth €18,000. The deadline for submissions is 29 July.
