Aalsmeer donates flower bulbs to education professionals

On Pedagogical Professionals Day, staff members at childcare organizations in Aalsmeer and Kudelstaart were surprised with a package of flower bulbs. With this gesture, the municipality expressed its appreciation for the important work they do every day in childcare.

Educational Professionals Day is observed annually on the third Thursday of September. On this day, people across the country take a moment to reflect on the valuable work that educational professionals do. The day provides an opportunity to express recognition and appreciation for everyone who is dedicated to the development, guidance, and well-being of young children in child care.

Councilmember Bart Kabout (Youth & Education): “Child care centers are places where children learn, grow, and develop through play. Child care professionals play a crucial role in this. Their commitment, flexibility, and dedication make a difference every day. That’s why, just like last year, we wanted to thank them for their hard work with a small token of appreciation.”
