Ontario’s largest chrysanthemum show returns to Hamilton this weekend

Step into a country-inspired world of colour at the City of Hamilton’s Annual Fall Floral Mum Show, running October 17 to 25 at the Gage Park Greenhouse. This year’s show will transform the greenhouses with thousands of chrysanthemums, creative floral displays and country-themed garden scenes.

Presented by the City’s horticulture staff since 1920, the Fall Floral Mum Show is Ontario’s largest and longest-running chrysanthemum exhibition.

Visitors can explore the floral displays, shop the Flower Market for build-your-own bouquets, house plants and cut flowers, and stop by the café for a drink or light bite. Weekend programming will also include family-friendly activities and DIY experiences.

New this year: Fall Floral Mum Show After Dark

Visitors can experience the Fall Floral Mum Show After Dark hosted by Urban Cowboy Line dancing on Friday, October 23 from 8 p.m. to midnight. This special evening event will offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy the Fall Floral Mum Show in a unique after-hours atmosphere, complete with country music, free line dancing lessons and plenty of Western-inspired fun surrounded by spectacular floral displays. Tickets are limited.
