Four awards for Plantipp varieties at IPM 2026

Four Plantipp varieties have received awards at IPM Essen 2026 in Essen. The international IPM jury recognised Yucca ‘French Flag’PBR, Clematis Amazing Tokyo, Cercis griffithii Blue Lagoon (‘RAFMAR 1’PBR) and Ficus carica Fignomenal (‘PT-DF-14’PBR) for their distinctive characteristics and market relevance.

IPM Novelty winner category Perennials
Yucca ‘French Flag’ was awarded in the perennial category. The jury highlighted its strong variegation, upright architectural habit and drought resistance. The variety delivers year-round visual impact and is well suited to contemporary gardens and containers, with added value for pollinators during its flowering period.
