A platform for green and flowering plants

A walk through the green trade, a chat here and there, and a good sandwich on the side, that’s the recipe behind Het Groene Podium, an in-house trade fair hosted at Kwekerij WestKaab in the Netherlands. Over three days, Carl Sales Support, Ad Sales Support, Growing Success, SurePlants, Green Sales & Promotion, and The Green Gentleman are presenting products from 90 growers across roughly 125 CC containers.

The range on display is broad, given the number of growers involved, from large green potted plants and Christmas-themed ceramic cyclamen to skimmias and potted chrysanthemums. Several growers have also stopped by to see how their products are displayed, and reactions have been positive.

“Tuesday tends to be the quietest day, but turnout has already been solid,” says Fabian Noordermeer of Green Sales & Promotions. “Buyers can walk around at their own pace, see what’s on offer, and easily approach us if they want more information. It’s also ideal for growers that sales run through a single channel, since we can offer products from a large number of growers at once, which in turn helps growers reach new buyers.”

The fair runs through Thursday, September 3, at Kwekerij WestKaab. The next edition has also been confirmed: a winter edition will take place December 8–10 at GP Power Plants.
