The latest success came in Roeulx, Belgium, where Royal Victoria was awarded Best Fragrant Rose and received a Silver Medal at the international rose event. “The recognition is particularly significant for Royal Victoria, a rose celebrated for its large, beautifully formed flowers and exceptional fragrance. Its combination of elegant blooms, generous flowering and captivating scent has made it a true standout among modern roses.”

A summer of international success
Royal Victoria’s success in Belgium follows an extraordinary summer, Rosa says. Earlier this year, the rose was awarded The Golden Rose of Paris at the famous Parc de Bagatelle, one of the world’s most renowned settings for international rose competitions. Royal Victoria has also received recognition in Rome, adding yet another prestigious European award to its growing collection.

For Danish rose breeder Rosa Eskelund, founder of Roses Forever, the latest news from Belgium was a wonderful moment. “It is fantastic to be called with such good news,” Rosa says. Unfortunately, Rosa was unable to attend the international event in Belgium herself, where the rose garden was filled with visitors and rose enthusiasts celebrating the world of roses.
