BosDaalen renamed Logisteed Netherlands Transport following takeover

Transport company BosDaalen from Maasdijk will continue under the name Logisteed Netherlands Transport. The name change follows the takeover of the Westland family business by the international logistics service provider. According to CEO Egbert van Alphen, the new name marks the next step in the company’s development. “We are building on a rich history, but at the same time, we are part of a larger international organization. With the name Logisteed Netherlands Transport, we are ready for the future.”

The management emphasizes that the acquisition creates new opportunities for both customers and employees. “Our services, expertise, and commitment remain just as strong,” says Van Alphen. “At the same time, thanks to Logisteed’s international network, we gain access to new knowledge, markets, and growth opportunities.”

BosDaalen has a long history in the Westland. The company was formed from the collaboration between Cargoboss and Van Daalen Transport, two family businesses that have been active for generations in the temperature-controlled transport of fresh products to Germany, Switzerland, and northern France. “That history remains an important part of who we are,” says Van Alphen. “The name changes, but our core values and our relationships with customers and employees remain.”

Logisteed Netherlands Transport continues to operate from its existing locations in Maasdijk and Eschbach (Germany). For customers, there is little change in the daily service. “Our focus remains on reliable and efficient conditioned groupage transport of vegetables, fruit, flowers, and plants,” says Van Alphen. “The strength of our company stays the same, but is now enhanced by the scale and expertise of Logisteed .”

With the integration into Logisteed, the company becomes part of an international logistics organization with a worldwide network. In the coming period, the corporate identity, communication materials, and fleet will gradually be adjusted to the new look. “You can already spot the first trucks in Logisteed colors on the road,” concludes Van Alphen. “We look forward to this new chapter with confidence.”
