The third, and last, day of IFTEX 2026 remains busy, with exhibitors reporting a steady flow of visitors throughout the exhibition halls in Nairobi.
According to exhibitors, this year’s event is attracting a higher proportion of serious buyers and genuinely interested visitors. Exhibitors noted that ongoing travel restrictions in certain regions, combined with the current geopolitical situation and conflicts affecting international trade, have made attending overseas events more challenging. As a result, those who make the journey to IFTEX are doing so with clear business objectives and a strong intention to meet suppliers and explore sourcing opportunities.
Many visitors are also taking advantage of their trip to Kenya by combining their attendance at the exhibition with visits to farms.
