Denis Dullemans joins MechaTronix as Chief Commercial Officer

MechaTronix is pleased to announce the appointment of Denis Dullemans as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), who joined the company in mid-August.

“Denis brings more than two decades of international experience in horticultural lighting, greenhouse technology and global business development to MechaTronix. Throughout his career, he has built an extensive international network of growers, greenhouse specialists, technology partners and industry professionals across Europe, North America and beyond.”

His arrival comes at an exciting time for MechaTronix. The company has grown significantly in recent years, expanding its international presence and strengthening its portfolio of advanced LED lighting solutions for professional horticulture. “With strong growth and a solid financial foundation, we are well positioned for next phase of international expansion,” says CEO Koen Vangorp. “In a horticultural lighting market that is undergoing significant change and consolidation, our stability provides a strong base for continued investment, innovation, and long-term partnerships.”

As CCO, Denis will focus on further accelerating MechaTronix’s commercial development and supporting the company’s ambitions for continued global growth.

More than two decades in horticulture
Denis’ route into horticulture was anything but conventional. After starting his professional career as a self-employed Microsoft and Office trainer, he moved into the software industry, working internationally in newspaper and magazine automation and later in SAP and publishing.

In 2003, he made the move into horticulture when he joined Agrolux, following his father’s encouragement. It became a defining chapter in his career. Over the next 18 years, Denis worked extensively in horticultural lighting, travelling around the world and developing a deep understanding of the greenhouse industry and its customers.

Following the acquisition of Agrolux by Scotts Miracle-Gro, Denis joined Dalsem Greenhouses, where he gained additional experience with complete greenhouse solutions. He subsequently returned to horticultural lighting through positions at Dutch Lighting Innovations (DLI) and Heliospectra.

Most recently, Denis was Lead Global Greenhouse Sales at Heliospectra, where he was responsible for developing the company’s global greenhouse business.

A strategic addition to the MechaTronix team
