Earley Ornamentals launches 2027 Bedding and Perennial collections

Earley Ornamentals has launched its 2027 Bedding and Perennial catalogues, bringing together carefully selected new introductions chosen for their resilience, uniformity and lasting garden performance, alongside trusted varieties that continue to deliver reliable results season after season.

Covering the full breadth of the company’s offering, the new catalogues feature a wide selection of Bedding, Basket and Patio plants, Alpines, Herbaceous Perennials and seasonal favorites, providing growers with new opportunities across the production calendar.

New Bedding introductions for 2027
The 2027 Bedding collection includes a broad selection of seed- and cutting-raised introductions, bringing new colors, combinations and genetics to the range.

Among the headline additions are Gerbera Majorette, producing masses of long-lasting flowers on compact plants, and the new Sel Trixi range, which combines three complementary varieties in a single young plant for balanced color, uniform growth and season-long performance. Calibrachoa Sel Trixi Tricolore ’20 is one of the standout introductions within the range.

For autumn and spring production, Primula Sunny Side Up delivers bright color on compact, uniform plants, while Senetti Magenta Spider introduces a distinctive new flower form to the popular Senetti series.

Other introductions include seed-raised Nemesia Tiny Treasures, alongside cutting-raised Sel Elph Red White Stripes and additions to the Nesia series. For premium container programs, Pentas lanceolata F1 StreetArt produces exceptionally large flower clusters on vigorous, well-branched plants.

For summer production, Zinnia Belize Double combines a uniform, dome-shaped habit with good weather tolerance, while Petunia Sky brings distinctive speckled flowers and a semi-trailing habit for baskets and containers.

Looking ahead to autumn production, Ranunculus Bloomingdale II and Sprinkles Dwarf F1 provide further choice, offering fully double flowers, compact habits and reliable pot performance.

New 51-cell tray format
A key development for 2027 is the introduction of a new 51-cell tray, containing 50 plants, across selected Bedding products.

Developed in response to customer feedback, the new format provides a flexible smaller-quantity option, filling the gap between existing tray sizes. It also supports improved product stability and structure throughout production, handling and delivery.

The new tray gives growers greater flexibility when planning production programs, particularly where smaller quantities are required, while maintaining the quality and consistency associated with the Earley Ornamentals range.

Expanded Perennial collection
The 2027 Perennial collection has also been expanded with a carefully selected range of new introductions chosen for their resilience, uniformity and lasting garden performance.

New additions include Dianthus deltoides Brilliant, Coreopsis Solar Fancy and Solar Jewel, selected for their weather tolerance and reliable garden performance. Five new Helianthemum varieties – Bronze Carpet, Cerise Queen, Fire Dragon, Henfield Brilliant and The Bride – also join the range, alongside compact Perovskia Little Spire.

The perennial offer has been further strengthened with new Rudbeckia Suneckia Carla, Mia and Ophelia, together with Salvia Amistad Pink and Berry Blast.

New foliage introductions include Crassula Variegata, Hebe Joan Mac and Senecio Silvery Velvet, providing additional texture, structure and foliage interest across perennial programs.
