Five greenhouses planned as local floriculture initiative takes shape

The local Municipality of Bell Ville is moving ahead with the development of the Bell Ville Florece program, an initiative aimed at strengthening local flower production and creating new productive development opportunities for the city.

The first of five greenhouses to be installed for flower production has already arrived. The structure is a metal frame measuring 32 meters long by 6.20 meters wide, and will serve as one of the production units intended for the future operation.

This stage represents a key step in consolidating the initiative, with the initial investment coming entirely from the municipality, which is committed to growing a new productive activity with economic, environmental, and social potential.

Once all five greenhouses have been installed, the site will have the infrastructure needed to move forward with the production of cut flowers and ornamental species, which “will promote productive diversification, job creation, and the strengthening of the local economy.”
