Greenhouse builder opts for independence with renewed management team

Greenhouse builder Technokas, based in the Netherlands, has renewed its management team. The company says it is maintaining an independent, stable course at a time when investors are increasingly entering the greenhouse construction market.

The new management team consists of four people.

Freek Batist – Commercial Director / Project Engineer
Freek has worked at Technokas for more than 22 years and took on the role of commercial director on June 1. He has a technical background from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) and extensive experience within the company, making him a familiar point of contact for customers and partners.

Freek van Rijn – Operations Director
Freek van Rijn joined Technokas as operations director on July 1. He brings broad practical experience from the horticultural sector. With a degree in energy engineering from a university of applied sciences (HTS) and an MBA, he focuses on optimizing processes and teams within the organization.

Veronique Meijer-Peek – Manager Finance, HR & Organization
Veronique provides stability at the company’s head office. With her management background and broad experience, she oversees financial administration, HR and organizational processes. Together with her team, she ensures efficient and professional support for the organization.

Simon van der Kaaij – Managing Director and Owner
Simon founded Technokas in 1992 together with Peter Zwinkels. He remains actively involved in day-to-day operations. His experience, commitment and entrepreneurship are a driving force within the company.
