Research conducted by Wageningen University & Research (WUR) shows that movable screen systems help create a stable greenhouse climate and can significantly increase crop performance. With screen systems, growers can achieve up to 30% more PAR light levels, potentially resulting in crop yield increases of up to 25%.

The study also highlights that the heat-retention capabilities of screen systems help maintain higher nighttime temperatures. This reduces relative humidity inside the greenhouse and lowers the risk of fungal development. These warmer nighttime conditions may also allow growers to start the growing season earlier, creating additional opportunities to increase production.
