Monrovia announces 2026 Bee a Winner Grand Prize recipient

Monrovia’s Bee a Winner Giveaway generated a lot of buzz this season and one lucky winner took home the national grand prize – a $500 Monrovia shopping spree.

Sandra P. entered the giveaway after shopping at Mutual Ace Hardware in Highland Park Illinois. Her $500 Monrovia plant collection prize choices included polinator favorties Sunny Days Lemon Coneflower, Evolution Colorific Coneflower and Seaside Serenade Bar Harbor Hydrangea, plus much more. Monrovia created the Bee a Winner pollinator plant program to help garden centers showcase the beauty and benefits of pollinator-attracting plants. In 2027, the program is evolving to be even easier for both retailers and customers.

Next season Monrovia will give away ten in-store shopping spree prizes worth $500 each.To participate, garden centers need to sign up, then place a $2,000 order of any pollinator Monrovia friendly plants. Those orders will include posters with an easy-to-use QR Code that links to an online customer entry form. Orders must be delivered by May 28, 2027.

Winners will be drawn during Pollinator Week, June 21-27, 2027.
