Salon du Végétal 2026 draws more than 8,000 visitors

The 2026 edition of Salon du Végétal took place this week, from September 15-17, at the Angers Exhibition Center in France, bringing together professionals from across the plant sector. The biennial trade fair welcomed more than 8,000 visitors, an increase of 8% compared with the 2024 edition. Visitors from 30 nationalities attended the event.

The show brought together professionals from across the horticultural value chain, including producers, suppliers, distributors, landscape professionals, local authorities, industry representatives, students and other sector stakeholders.

According to the organizers, the most frequently cited feedback from exhibitors concerned the quality of the visitors. Exhibitors reported that many attendees came to the show with specific projects, allowing companies to present solutions tailored to their needs.

The three-day program also included several sector events, including the 19th National Conference of ‘Villes et Villages Fleuris’, a major conference and press conference marking 20 years of Plante & Cité’s work on nature in the city, and activities involving SNELAC and the International Council for Biodiversity and Real Estate (CIBI).
