Although the differences at the top of FreshPublishers’ World Cup Pool are small, many of the same names remain in the leading positions as the final group-stage matches approach.

Guido de Bruijn of Agrofair remains in the lead, followed by Mark Libregts of JNV Produce. Sandro Miglino of Italian lettuce and herb grower Fratelli Cafaro, 1989, is the new number 3, swapping places with fruit and vegetable lawyer Hans Borsboom of Herik Legal. Dirk van den Hurk of AAF has also remained among the frontrunners throughout the week.
Abram Schaap of Van Egmond Lisianthus is the first newcomer in the top ten. In seventh place, Patrick Harte of British horticultural supplier CambridgeHOK has returned to the top of the list. In eighth place is Bjorn van Ryckeghem of the Belgian firm Deprez Construct. In ninth place is Argentine fruit exporter Gabriel Tralice of Lapacho Azul SA, while Canadian Claude Toupin of C Y Grower Supplies rounds out the top 10.
Important for participants: Predictions for the knockout stage can still be submitted until 21:00 on 28 June. After that, the round of 16 begins. Here’s to an exciting finale, with the winner of the international fruit, vegetable, and horticulture sector’s football quiz to be announced on the night of 18 July.
